«إلى وجوه وأعيان الدروز والسنيّين والشيعيين في جبل لبنان»
«أيها الإخوان ـ السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته»
«وبعد فقد بلغنا أن الحكومة الإفرنسية تجردكم من سلاحكم وتسلح أخوانكم أبناء الطوائف الأخرى بحجة الخطر على سلامتهم الناشئ على زعمها عن الثورة السورية الوطنية، على أننا نعلم نحن كما تعلم الحكومة نفسها أن لا داعي لهذا السلوك الغريب الذي لم يسبق له مثيل في هذا العصر في أية بلاد من بلاد الله، ذلك لأن أبناء البلاد الذين تربطهم الروابط القومية وتشد بعضهم إلى بعض المصالح الوطنية ليسوا في حاجة إلى هذه التدابير الضارة، وهم في خير وسلام لولا سوء إدارة الحكومة المنتدبة، ولولا أعمالها الصادرة عن نيات غير سليمة. وقد بات من الجلي الواضح أن الحكومة المستعمرة تريد أن تخدع العالم الخارجي وإقناعه أن الثورة الوطنية ذات صبغة دينية، وذلك لكي يقر في أذهان الأمم المتمدنة أن انتدابها على سورية هو أمر ضروري لسلامة الأقليات وصيانة حقوقها.
ولذلك من الفروض الواجبة على كل من في قلبه إخلاص لوطنه وحب للحرية أن يبذل أقصى مجهود ليكذب هذه المزاعم ويثبت لهذه الحكومة أنه غير راضٍ عن سياستها».
«ولقد أسرعنا بالكتابة إليكم لعلمنا أن تجريدكم من السلاح وتوزيعه على إخوانكم الآخرين قد يوقظ في نفوسكم شعوراً غير صالح تجاههم ويحملكم على النفور منهم بالريبة بهم، وبالتالي قد ينشأ عن هذه الحالة حوادث تضر بالوطن وتؤذي القضية الشريفة والأغراض التي يسعى إليها رجال الثورة الوطنية. ولا يخفى أن هذه النتيجة هي الغرض الذي تقصد إليه سياسة الحكومة، لأنه يساعد على رسوخ قدمها في البلاد ويمكنها من الثبات في ربوع الوطن، إذ يسقط بين يديها فريسة منهوكة القوى بسبب التطاحن الداخلي».
«ولقد كتبنا بياناً عاماً للبنانيين الكرام، أوضحنا فيه أننا لا نريد في حركتنا الحاضرة إلاَّ سورية الداخلية، فلا محل إذاً لقلق أحد على مسألة الحدود، وأمطنا فيه اللثام عن سوء نية الحكومة بسيرها في هذه السياسة الفاسدة، وأوضحنا الأغراض الحقيقية إلى تحقيقها بواسطة الثورة السورية، وإننا لعلى ثقة أن الذين كانوا يجهلون الحقيقة من اللبنانيين ممن حملتهم سياسة الحكومة على مقاومة الحركة الوطنية قد أخذوا الآن يدركون أن مساعدتهم للحكومة هي جناية على الوطن وخيانة لقضية الحرية تعافها الشهامة وينبو عنها الشرف».
«وقد استدعت الحال أن نختصكم بهذه الرسالة على كره منا، لأننا لا نريد أن نخاطب فريقاً من أبناء الوطن بصفته الطائفية، وذلك لكي نحذركم من سياسة الحكومة ونوصيكم بأن تكونوا صبورين، ونحثكم على التقرب من إخوانكم وبني جلدتكم ووطنكم من أبناء الطوائف الأخرى، ونرجوكم أن تزيلوا بحسن سلوككم وصبركم كل سوء تفاهم بينكم وأن تتفقوا جميعاً على الذين يسعون لتكدير العلاقات الودية من الجهلة والسفهاء الذين لم يدركوا ما يصنعون فتضربوهم بيد من حديد، وأننا لنرجو أن تكونوا أنتم وجميع أبناء وطنكم الآخرين عند ظننا بكم من الحصافة والتعقل والوطنية الصادقة.. والسلام عليكم..».

« Dear brothers, peace, God’s blessings, and mercy be with you ».
« It has reached us that the French government is confiscating your weapons while arming your brothers in other sects in the pretext of the so called threat to their safety arisen from the National Syrian Revolution. However, we know, as well as they do, that there is no basis or need for this weird conduct that has no precedent in this era anywhere on Earth. The children of one country who have nationalistic ties and are brought together by their country’s interests and well being are in no need of these harmful practices, and they would be in peace and harmony if it wasn’t for the mismanagement and ill-intended actions of the Mandate government. It has become obviously clear that the colonial government wants to deceive the outside world and convince them that the National Revolution is of a religious nature, which is done to convince the civilized nations that its mandate over Syria is essential to the safety of minorities and the protection of their rights. Thus it’s the duty of every loyal patriot and freedom seeker to make every effort to refute these allegations and to prove to this government that he is not satisfied with its policy ». « We hurried to write to you knowing that stripping you of your weapons and distributing it to your brothers might awaken in your hearts the feelings of doubt and repulsion against them, and this might lead to certain actions that will harm our country and be detrimental to the noble cause sought by the men of the National Revolution. It is obvious that this outcome is the purpose of the government’s policy because it helps securing its presence in this land and cause our country to be an easy prey exhausted after all the internal fighting ». « We have wrote a public statement to the Lebanese people emphasizing that our current movement is only concerned with inner Syria and there is no reason for concern over the borders issue, and we exposed the government’s bad intentions in carrying on such corrupt policies and revealed the true purposes that they aim to achieve using the Syrian Revolution. We are certain that those Lebanese who did not know the truth and who were driven by the government policy to resist the National Movement are now realizing that any help they give to this government is a crime against their country and a dishonorable repulsive betrayal to the cause of freedom ». « As much as we hate addressing you as a sectarian group we find ourselves obliged to warn you about the government’s policy and advise you to be patient and encourage you to be close to your brothers and fellow patriots from other religions and sects. We hope that with your patience and good conduct you will remove all misunderstandings towards each other. We also hope that you all agree to firmly distinguish the disturbance of friendly relations committed by those that are foolish and ignorant whom do not recognize what they are doing. We wish that all citizens of this nation will meet our expectations and be wise, rational, true patriots… and peace be with you… ».
